The contention of the Delhi Chief Minister that he is entitled to more powers than the Lt. Governor was disputed by Mr. Jung and this tug of war ended in a court verdict in favour of Lt. Governor. His resignation at this juncture has given rise to more speculations in the media but as per the information received by ‘samskrithi.in’ from a reliable source Sri. Najeeb Jung will be taking charge as the Vice Chancellor of Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi very soon. Since the University has become the den of some anti- national, and anti- social elements the posting of Sri. Najeeb Jung will be an appropriate step, because to clean up the University from its present rot and to bring back to its old prestige is the priority of the Central Government.
