72 hours after two Kannada actors drowned in Tippagondanahalli reservoir on the outskirts of Bengaluru in a killer stunt while shooting for a film titled ‘Masti Gudi’, the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) team has found bodies of both the actors in the same reservoir.
The body of Uday was found yesterday at 4 PM by the NDRF team and the body of Anil was found today.
Actor Uday’s body was spotted was at around 4 pm on Wednesday, a day after Navy divers joined search operations.
A joint team of the NDRF, SDRF and the Navy conducted search operations in order to locate the body of the Anil, the other actor who had drowned.
The two actors lost their lives after a stunt for a Kannada film Mastigudi went horribly wrong. The horrific scene of the incident caught on camera showed stuntmen Anil and Uday jumping off from a helicopter into the Tippagondanahalli reservoir from a height of about 50 feet. Actor Duniya Vijay, who was also part of the stunt, managed to swim safely to the shore.
